PROJECT NAME:
The Queensland Holocaust Museum
PROJECT DATES:
Nov 2022 - July 2023
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
Designed to engage all ages, the Queensland Holocaust Museum was the first of its kind in Queensland and presented a reimagined approach to Holocaust education.
Experience Design:
Utilising cutting-edge technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), we’ve crafted an experience that deeply engages and interacts with visitors, surpassing traditional museum displays. The AR features enable visitors to visualise historical events and personal stories in their real-world environment, while AI technology personalises the visitor experience, adapting exhibits to individual learning preferences. The museum also showcases a poignant ‘Butterfly’ memorial wall and shares powerful stories from Holocaust survivors now living in Queensland, offering a moving and inspiring journey against intolerance and for multiculturalism.
Globally Recognised:
In 2024, the museum’s innovative approach was celebrated on the global stage, winning Gold and Silver at the prestigious Global Eventex Awards. Further recognition came with ALIVE being named Corporate Event Management Company of the Year at the 2024 Australian Event Awards. Judges commended our groundbreaking work with the Queensland Holocaust Museum, highlighting our trailblazing event innovation and cultural engagement.
Brad's Role:
As Executive Producer and General Manager at ALIVE Events Agency during this period, Brad was pivotal in orchestrating both the creative vision and operational execution of this landmark project in Brisbane.
